Lunch Ideas for Littles // What My Toddler Eats in A Week

June 10, 2021 For Littles, MOTHERHOOD

For seven days I documented Nora’s lunches so that I could share them with you all! Like I mentioned in my post Quick & Easy Snacks for Littles, I love seeing what other people feed their kiddos. So here are some lunch ideas for littles, and what Nora’s lunches generally look like.

I actually had so much fun with this haha!

Monday

On Monday she had a boiled egg, a banana cut into two halves, and peanut butter crackers. Ate it all except for a few bites of egg.

Tuesday

On Tuesday I cut up three chicken nuggets which she dipped in ketchup. She LOVES ketchup and has so much fun dipping things herself. I have found ketchup is a great way for her to eat things she doesn’t like because she just dips everything on her plate into it (yuck!). Including her grapes that day blehhh. She also had some mixed veggies which she didn’t finish completely but also dipped in ketchup haha.

Wednesday

On Wednesday she had half of a grilled cheese and a homemade smoothie puree made from blueberries, strawberries, banana, and greek yogurt.

(Here’s an affiliate link to the reusable pouches!)

Thursday

On Thursday she had veggies and hummus. Again, she loves dipping things so this is a great way to make veggies fun for her. In the main section of the plate are Sweet Potato Bites. I ended up cutting them up for her and squirting ketchup on them. She also had mandarin oranges. (She ate everything but some of the cucumbers. Though she usually eats those so I think she had just gotten full!

Friday

Kinda had a snack plate thing going on that day. Crackers, cheddar cheese, deli ham, strawberries, and bananas. She actually ate everything but the ham that day.

Saturday

On Saturday she had Annie’s Organic White Cheddar Shells and peas. She also had some apple slices on the side.

Sunday

Sunday she ate leftovers (we had tacos the night before). Black beans, corn, rice, and ground beef. She had avocado and fruit cocktail on the side.
