“Something Old, Something New” February Reading Challenge!

February Reading Challenge

In honor of the month of Valentines Day, sweethearts, and love, I thought it would be fun to do a challenge inspired by one of my dearest loves–books hehehe.

How it works!

This reading challenge is inspired by the saying “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue!” Each of the Somethings will be a book/reading prompt for your TBR in the month of February! (You are more than welcome to read at your own pace, and if this reading challenge takes you a little longer than the month of February–that’s okay! The point is simply that you read more books!)

It will go a little like…

Something Old — Read any book that has been on your bookshelf for a while!

Something New — Read a book out of your “normal” (For instance, if you’re normally a Historical Fiction person, you might choose a Fantasy read. Or a Non Fiction read. Anything out of your ordinairy!)

Something Borrowed — Read a library book! Any Library book. This can be a book you check out for yourself or a book you checked out to read aloud to your little one!

Something Blue — Read a book with a mostly blue cover!

That’s it! That’s all there is to it!

Here is a fun little graphic that you can use for your instagram stories if you wish to share what you’ve completed for the reading challenge! You can copy and paste images of the the covers onto the blank squares 🙂

(Be sure to tag me– @michaela_lorren — So I can see!!)
