36 weeks pregnant, wow! Pregnancy has really gone by fast for me and meeting our sweet baby girl is just around the corner. That means her car seat is installed, hospital bag (for mama!) is–nearly–packed, and the diaper bag is ready to go!
When Nora is here and home, I expect what’s in the diaper bag will probably change a little, but this is what we have in it for now. I know the hospital will provide a lot of different things for her while we are there. (Diapers, wipes, etc.) There are, however, things inside that I know we will be keeping in the diaper bag after she is here but won’t necessarily need in the hospital.
My Diaper Bag
- My diaper bag itself is from Fawn Designs. I’ve always preferred to carry a backpack purse because of the convenience and so the backpack style is already something I’m used to and love! I also try to go with a color/leather that will go with pretty much anything I’m wearing, and this fit those two “requirements” perfectly!
What’s Inside…
- Car seat cover — The car seat cover we have also doubles as a nursing cover which I think will be super nifty!
- Changing Pad — For changing baby girl on the go!
- Burp Cloth
- Swaddle Blanket — Lightweight, easy to fold, and multipurpose!
- Wet Bag — This isn’t something we’ll be using in the hospital because we’ll just be using disposable diapers. However, after the hospital we do plan on cloth diapering. So this is something that will be in our diaper bag at all times to hold any dirty diapers, soiled clothes, etc.
- Wipes — Not necessarily for the hospital but a diaper bag necessity for afterwards! These are from Young Living’s Seedlings line!
- Baby Nail Clippers
- Pacifier + Pacifier clip — (paci + clip are both from Bibs USA!)
- Outfits — I’m bringing three. Sizes vary because I don’t really know how big she’ll be. A tiny newborn outfit, an outfit that’s slightly bigger, and an outfit that’s kinda in between!
- Accessories — I picked out some of her bow headbands that will go with any of her outfits that I brought for pictures. I also brought some socks. One pair for her little feet and another for her hands as mittens so she doesn’t scratch her sweet lil face. (I’ve heard socks stay on way better than the actual newborn mittens!) I have them all in the little pink bag.
- Mini Thieves Spray + Hand sanitizer — If you know me, ya know I love my Thieves products. I think having a mini on the go thieves cleaner (that’s all natural and baby friendly) will be convenient to have on hand at all times! Also hand sanitizer because, it sanitizes hands 😉
Anddd that’s it! 🙂
