Pumpkin Spice Coffee Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups Water
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 pinch of Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Instructions

  • Combine all of ingredients except for Vanilla together in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil.
  • Turn down to medium heat, and stir occasionally to prevent syrup from burning.
  • Allow mixture to cook together for about 10 or minutes. When ready, you'll find that all the ingredients have thoroughly combined, consistency is syrupy enough to coat a spoon. Remove from heat.
  • Once removed from heat, add your vanilla. Stir in.
  • That's it! The amount of syrup you add to your coffee will be to your own taste/preference. You'll have to determine whether you prefer more or less sweetness/flavor! Adjust the amount you add to your coffee accordingly. Enjoy :)

Notes

*You can absolutely add more or less of any of the spices to fit your preference! I taste as I go and sometimes add a dash more of this or that. I have even added a splash of Cardamom coffee syrup to this recipe and it was a delicious addition!
